Setup Assistant

The setup assistant will appear on Invoy's first run to help you configure and setup things very quickly and have Invoy up and running in a no-time. It has 4 sections: Company, Currency, Taxes and Document.

Company

The basic informations for your company or business: Your company's logo, name, address and tax number. The country field is important as it pre-configures automatically some settings such as currency, taxes and document output language for your country ¹.

¹ This feature might not be available for your country. In that case configurations must be done manually.

To add a logo:

  1. Drag your logo (in JPG, PNG, TIFF or PDF formats) to the image well.

To remove a logo:

  1. Select the logo and hit the backspace/delete key.

or:

  1. Select the logo, control-click and choose "Clear Logo".

Currency

Your country's currency. If the values have been added automatically, please, double check them and correct if needed.

Taxes

Your country's taxes.

To add a tax:

  1. Click the Add Button button.
  2. Fill the tax name field (i.e. VAT) and the value field (i.e. 21%).

To remove a tax:

  1. Select the tax you want to remove in the tax table.
  2. Click the Remove Button button.

Warning: If you remove a tax that's been assigned to items, the items will loose this tax. This does not affect items already in documents.

Document

Document specific preferences: The language in wich the document will be outputed, header and footer texts. The header is preseted by the company section, but can be changed at will.

This is where you should specify mandatory text and information required by your country's law.
