ShoppingCart overview ^ top ^
As most shopping cart solutions SpiderSales™ has two main sections:
a) The Admin Section
b) The Store Section

The Admin Section ^ top ^
The Admin Section is controlled by the administrator of the store which adds the products, the images, the description of the products, the price of the products etc.

He has a password and a username, and he is the only one who can enter the Admin Section. He is responsible for any changes he makes, and the way they'll affect the store.
Practically the Admin creates the Store Section from products and design to payment gateways and shipping methods.

The Admin Section is invisible to the customers.

The Store Section ^ top ^
The Store Section is what the customer sees. Changes made in the Admin Section will affect the Store Section.

The customers come to the Store Section, (if they come for the first time, they'll have to register), select the products they want to buy and the desired quantities, the shipping address, then select the payment method and log off.

Now that you've understand the basic of the ShoppingCart let's go on with the help.
The help is structured, like the Admin Section, so you'll have a help page for each admin page.

General tips ^ top ^
  •  You can always write HTML code in the textareas and the textboxes
  •  Every time you make a change in the Admin is good to have a Store window open to see the changes
  •  When you start working with a new store is recommended to generate a new encryption key
  •  All products must have a price. If they don't have any, the customer won't be able to buy them.
  •  When you're using bundle sale, is recommended to set the product prices as sum of the components
