  1. Configuring multiple displays for your Mac
  2. Choosing the TaskCard display

Configuring multiple displays for your Mac.

The first step is to enable multiple displays for Mac by opening the System Preferences (in the Apple menu) then choosing Displays. If you have plugged in an external monitor(s) to your Mac the preferences will look similar to the window in the screen below.

Next go to the Arrangement tab and make sure to uncheck the Mirror Displays box or both monitors will display identical content. Optionally you can drag the arrangement of the displays around in the box , but this does not affect TaskCard.

Choosing the TaskCard display.

After your external monitor(s) are working properly (displaying an extended Desktop you can drag window across) you need to choose the display you want TaskCard to open in.

To do this, choose the Multiple Displays... item in the File menu (command-option-M) and you will be presented with a window like seen below. Then simply choose the monitor you want and TaskCard will be moved into its frame and continue to open in the selected display when ever it's launched (if the monitor is available at the time of launching).
