You can create bookmarks directly in Webbla or by copy or drag bookmarks from another application.

To create new bookmarks in Webbla:

Step 1

Click the Add (+) button at the top of the Webbla window or choose File > New Bookmark from the menu.

Step 2

Type the address from the website you want to add in the url field and press the Return key.

Webbla will add the prefix “http://” automatically for you if you don't enter a prefix.

To create new bookmarks by copy from another application:

Step 1

Open or activate the application you want to copy the bookmarks from.

Step 2

Select the bookmarks you want to copy.

Step 3

Choose Edit > Copy from the menu or the shortcut Command C to copy the bookmarks.

Step 4

Switch to Webbla and choose Edit > Paste from the menu or use the shortcut Command V to paste the bookmarks into the selected collection or library.

It depends on your source application if you can copy multiple bookmarks at once.

Webbla only recognize bookmarks starting with “http://” or “https://”.

To create new bookmarks by dragging them from another application:

Step 1

Open or activate the application you want to drag the bookmarks from.

Step 2

Select the bookmarks you want to drag.

Step 3

Drag the selected bookmarks in Webbla on a collection, the List or the Icon View.

You can not create bookmarks in Smart Collections as their contents are based on a filter rule.

Searchfield entries will be removed when adding bookmarks.
